For the first time in nearly 4 months, I’m actually going AWAY for the weekend. This town is pretty isolated, and I’m starting to go stir crazy. Can’t wait to do some shopping, hit Costco (Sabra hummus anyone?) and get a chance to just relax!
My baby brother, who isn’t such a baby anymore, just completed his Sheriff’s training course and I could not be more proud of him. He’s this amazingly kind person, with such an old soul, and the the funniest person I know…..he deserves this new start in his life. Have I ever mentioned he lost more than 100 pounds and has kept it off for 3 years? Yup – real life inspiration there!
Next time I post I hope I have all kind of amazing pictures of my weekend!

I hate to break your heart, but our Costco doesn't have Sabra right now BUT the caramelized onion one is SO GOOD!!
Also, the Comox Valley Costco is opening in JUNE!! YAHOO!!
