Road Trip

My week away was absolutely everything I was hoping it would be.  A chance to relax, enjoy time with my family, see my baby brother become a sheriff (scary, but I’m so proud!) and some time away from home.

We were lucky enough to have some great weather for part of the trip….any excuse for sunglasses.

Lots of fun was had with the new camera.

And whenever Mr.T got tired of driving, Mimi took over.

We saw grandparents…

Made cookies…

Some of us admired the flowers in the garden…

While others of us couldn’t help but pick them!

We went to a graduation ceremony (I’d post more pictures, but apparently I’m not legally allowed…)

And then back in the car for a road trip home. I believe Mimi was belting out “Firework” in this picture. I can’t keep it all straight, she sang along with every song on the radio.

A great trip, and glad to be back to reality.  I returned home to find out that I’d been shortlisted for future PriorFatGirl Mom Edition over on PriorFatGirl.com – I’m really excited, and I can’t wait for my blog post to go up and hope you’ll all support me by voting for me when it does!
